Could Ryan Gosling be trading Ken’s pink paradise for a galaxy far, far away? Rumour has it that our favourite Canadian heartthrob and Oscar-nominated powerhouse is in talks to lead director Shawn Levy’s upcoming Star Wars film. And honestly, we’re here for it.
If you’re not already freaking out, here is what we know According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gosling is currently negotiating to star in a highly secretive standalone Star Wars project. Yep, you read that right. No Skywalker saga connections here, this is a completely fresh story.
Director Shawn Levy, the genius behind Deadpool & Wolverine, is teaming up with screenwriter Johnathan Tropper (The Adam Project, This is Where I Leave You) for this bold new step in the Star Wars franchise. These two have been scheming since 2022, and Tropper’s apparently been working on the script for over a year.
Fingers crossed that Gosling seals the deal!
