Youth week gets underway in Shellharbour

Shellharbour City Council is excited to celebrate NSW Youth Week (9-17 April) with a fantastic line-up of
fun and free activities for young people aged 12-24 years.


Shining a light on local young creatives, Youth Week kicks off with the launch of the Youth Art and
Design Exhibition on Wednesday 9 April at the Shellharbour Civic Centre. The exhibition features
incredible artwork from local young artists, including sculpture, ceramics, photography, textiles, animation
and more. It will run until 30 April.


Shellharbour Mayor Chris Homer is looking forward to seeing the community come together for Youth
Week.

them to connect, express themselves and enjoy being part of our vibrant community.”
Mayor Homer said.


“We’re so lucky to have such a passionate and creative group of young people in Shellharbour. I
encourage everyone to get involved, have some fun, and try something new.”
