Wollongong City Council stsistics indicate that more than 630,000 use it every year, and they’re working to make it even better.
Wollongong City Council advises that the ‘Bulli Beach shared pathway’, especially the Trinity Row section is getting work done.
“This is such a popular area year-round with people out walking, riding, scootering and running along the existing shared pathway. In fact, our permanent counter near Slacky Creek Bridge showed more than 630,000 people walked, ran or rode along this shared path in the past year,’’ Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery said.
A new four-metre-wide concrete shared pathway is being laid, with safety fencing along a portion of the pathway where it runs closer to the beach.
