Wollongong Council clears away Bulli Pool sand

Wollongong City Council’s been hard at it, removing around 500 tonnes of sand from the rock pools at Bulli Beach.

It was a big effort from the Council’s pool cleaning crew, which in a step that doesn’t often happen for Bulli, also required the use of an excavator.

Towradgi Pool is next – workers just need the tides, seas and swells to be on their side.
