Wollongong City Council has re-elected Councillor Tania Brown as Deputy Lord Mayor for the remaining term of the Council.
Councillor Brown was re-elected at the Council meeting on Monday 18 September, 2023, and she’ll remain in the role until the next general local government election in NSW, which is scheduled for September 2024.
Meantime, Councillor Neil Reilly will continue as Mayor of Kiama Council, after being re-elected at Tuesday night’s Council meeting.
Councillor Imogen Draisma has been re-elected as Deputy Mayor.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor, were elected by their fellow councillors for one year, until the NSW Local Government elections on 14 September, 2024.
