The Bureau of Meteorology, has slapped a strong wind warning on the Illawarra, for today and tomorrow.
The BOM says the winds will hit a forecast 55 kmh this morning, before dropping back in the early afternoon.
Meantime, the NSW RFS says due to the unfavourable weather conditions, hazard reduction burns around Helensburgh, have been postponed.
