Two new Illawarra Emergency Response Beacons

Two new Emergency Response Beacons or ERB’s will be at installed at Austinmer and Woonona.

The two northern Illawarra beaches getting the life-saving devices, enabling the rapid deployment of surf lifesaving and other support to emergency situations, either in the water or nearby.

Minister for the Illawarra and the South Coast Ryan Park, said the ERB’s will connect directly to Surf Life Saving NSW’s State Operations Centre when activated.
