Despite a respite in the temperature today, a reminder that the next three days will still see increased temps for the Illawarra.
While today’s expected top of 29 is cooler than yesterday, Albion Park almost hitting 36 degrees a number of times, we’re being reminded to be heat-aware for ourselves, the vulnerable in the community, and our animals.
Saturday is expected to be around 29, with Sunday up to 32, Monday we’re back to the low 20’s.

The NSW Rural Fire Service has lowered the fire danger rating for Wollongong, Shellharbour, and Kiama today, down to moderate.
