Two-time UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski received the Keys to the City of Wollongong on Thursday night.
Council says despite the rain, plenty packing in under-cover, to see Lord Mayor Tania Brown hand over the silver-ware.
Volkanovski joins other sports legends like Wayne Gardner and Emma McKeon, as holders of the keys.
