14 off duty lifesavers have converged on the Southern end of Austinmer beach on Monday, after swimmers got into trouble.
The group of eight swimmers were caught in a rip at the Southern end of Austinmer beach, the drama unfolded just after 7pm Monday.
Multiple NSW Paramedics units responded as well, the patients were assessed, before before five teenagers were taken to hospital for further assessment.
