Police are launching ‘Operation Labor Day’ – a high visibility campaign by the NSW Highway Patrol to keep the Illawarra and South Coast roads safe this long weekend.
Double demerits kick-in just after midnight tonight until 11.59pm on Monday 7 October 2024.
Officers will be targeting drink and drug driving, fatigue, mobile phone use, speeding and seat belt and helmet offences
