NSW Police continue Operation Regional Mongoose in the Illawarra, aimed at serious property-related crime.
Since the start of the operation, there has been 10 arrests with 65 charges laid, and two firearms seized, the action focussed predominately on young offenders.
Lake Illawarra Police Acting Commander Detective Chief Inspector Brad Ainsworth says don’t become an easy target, lock your cars, and don’t leave valuables in plain sight.
