Transport for NSW is preparing to start work on the next stage of repairs on Mount Ousley Road and restore it to full operations.
The work is necessary to repair damage to the road surface in the southbound left-hand shoulder lane about one kilometre before the New Mount Pleasant Road intersection caused during record-breaking rainfall in 2022.
Mount Ousley Road will need to be closed during the work to keep workers and motorists safe.
Detours will be in place via Bulli Pass, however heavy vehicles over 19 metres long will not be able to access Bulli Pass and are advised to delay their journey.
The first set of works will be from 8pm Sunday 20 August to 4am Monday 21 August near New Mount Pleasant Road.
