The first 21 doctors have begun their training in regional hospitals, including in the Illawarra, under the NSW Government’s Rural Generalist Single Employer Pathway Program.
The program is designed to see more doctors work, live and train in regional NSW.
Health Minister and Keira MP Ryan Park, said that recruitment for the 2025 Clinical Year opens on July 16, 2024.
