Motorists are advised of closures on the Illawarra Highway at Macquarie Pass between Tourist Road and Yellow Rock Road next week for maintenance work to be carried out.
Work will include road repair and resurfacing, maintaining electronic signage, vegetation and safety barriers, clearing gutters and drains, and litter collection.
Closures will be in place from 9am to 3pm, Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24 October 2024, weather permitting.
Detours for light vehicles will be in place via Jamberoo Mountain Road. Motorists are advised to allow an additional 15 minutes travel time between Robertson and Albion Park.
Heavy vehicles will be detoured via the Hume Motorway, Picton Road and the M1 Princes Motorway. Heavy vehicle motorists are advised to allow an additional 20 minutes travel time between the Hume Motorway and Albion Park.
