Wollongong City Council wants to know what makes Wollongong a great place to live?
That’s one of the big questions that’s being tackled as part of the 2023 Australian Liveability Census, the country’s largest social research project.
It’s the first time Wollongong City Council has participated in the liveability census and provides an opportunity to learn more about what people want in their neighbourhoods.
It looks at what they value about their neighbourhood, its functionality, aesthetics and what activities, events and spaces are important.
“The decisions made by Council are very much data-driven and we often ask the community for feedback on plans and projects,’’ Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery said.
“This liveability census will collect some fascinating information from residents right across our city about the things that are important to them about their suburbs, their neighbourhoods and what they value.”
