Kiama Council has provided an update on work at Jamberoo Mountain Road, Wallaby Hill Road, and Foxground Road.
Jamberoo Mountain Road
Contractors have now completed piling work at Site 3D, with the capping beam installed last week.
The piling work is now completed on Sites 3B and 3D with the road resurfacing to be completed once all other works are completed.
The soil nails at sites 3A and 3C will commence shortly.
Pending any more weather delays, the road will re‑open the road in June.
Foxground Road
Work is progressing on the cage and gabion baskets that will stabilise the road.
Following recent weather events and some rock movements Council are working with the contractor to update the program for re‑opening the road and will inform the community shortly.
Wallaby Hill Road
Preliminary work has started at this site, following delays due to contractual issues.
This has now been resolved with the contractor for the Jamberoo Mountain Road site, Civil and Civic, are establishing on site and finalising their work methods around the current site conditions.
Council will provide an expected re‑opening date as soon as possible.
