Kiama Council sells carpark for tidy sum

Kiama Council has finalised the sale of the southern carpark on Akuna Street.

Council has sold the property to Eazy Cleaning PTY Limited (Twinstars HGB) for $6,080,000 (including GST).

Council advises that the final settlement of the property followed the same open and selective tender processes as that used for the first set of Akuna Street landholdings, which was sold in December 2022.

The revenue from the sale, as with the previous sale, will be used to achieve the objectives of Council’s Strategic Improvement Plan, Long Term Financial Plan and Liquidity Plan.
