Illawarra Women’s Trauma Recovery Centre opens

The official opening of the Illawarra Women’s Trauma Recovery Centre will take place today, 6 September 2024.

In an Australian first women survivors of domestic, family and sexual violence, now have a dedicated centre, offering a wide range of support services

The opening follows a five-year campaign, from the Illawarra Women’s Health Centre, which has garnered strong support, from the Illawarra community.
