The swim season officially kicks off this weekend, with all three council’s getting back into lifesaving mode.
Wollongong Council advises that starting Saturday, 17 beaches from Stanwell Park to Windang, and nine fresh and saltwater pools, will be patrolled.
Shellharbour’s patrols run seven-days a week at Shellharbour North and Warilla Central beaches, with the Beverly Whitfield Pool to be patrolled, and Kiama Council begins patrols from this Saturday as well.
