More than 100 paddlers are expected to take to the water at Belmore Basin, for this year’s 23rd annual Paddle Against Poverty.
Over the years, the event has been held in various conditions, raising in excess of $150,000, and never fails to attract a strong field of paddlers and supporters of all ages and abilities.
Participants will begin at Belmore Basin at 8am on April 1 and make their way to Thirroul Beach, paddling all sorts of boards and water-craft for the fundraising quest.
