The Illawarra Hawks have pulled off a classic win over Melbourne United 80 – 71, pushing the NBL Championship Series to game 5 at the WEC on Sunday 23 March 2025.
The Illawarra Hawks lost co-captain Sam Froling, injured in the second quarter and it appears he has ruptured his achilles.
Davo Hickey and Lachlan Olbrich proved the game breakers, Hickey scoring 22 points, while Olbrich scored 13, and Tyler Harvey 12.
