Fillmore’s venue in Kiama has secured funding from a government pot of cash.
Federal Member for Gilmore Fiona Phillips, said the $45,000 Live Music Australia grant, will be used by the venue to buy equipment, as well as cover production costs and artist fees, as it support original Aussie live music.
The grant would provide 12 months of music programming at Fillmore’s, and would allow the venue to offer a financial guarantee for touring artists, giving them more confidence to travel to Kiama.
