Funding for Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra

The Federal Government has stumped up funding, of over $300,000 to Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra.

The group will receive $321,000 between now and 2026, to deliver the ‘Accelerate Them’ project, aimed at supporting young people aged 14-18 to make positive life choices, form support networks, and engage with learning and development.

Federal Member for Cunningham, Alison Byrnes said “The Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra is an integral part of the Illawarra region, with a proud history of supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) and migrant communities for nearly 50 years.”
