Fire and Rescue NSW will throw open the doors for its annual Open Day this Saturday, with firefighters urging the community to ensure it has a working smoke alarm in the lead up to winter.
Fire stations across the state will be open from 10am to 2pm on 10 May with a range of free activities including live demonstrations, station tours and free giveaways.
FRNSW Commissioner Jeremy Fewtrell, said that “Open Day is something our firefighters look forward to each year, it gives us the chance to meet locals and provide vital safety tips to be fire safe.”
