A man has been charged with multiple firearms offences after firearms and items to make explosives were found in Figtree.
About 9.15am Thursday 6 February 2025, Wollongong Police conducted a ‘compliance check’ at a home in Outlook Drive, Figtree, uncovering a cache including an unregistered firearm, powder used to make explosives, fuses, four detonators with a remote.
A 55-year-old man fronted Parramatta Local Court on Saturday, after being arrested at Wollongong Police Station, on Friday 7 February, 2025.
