Charges after alleged break and enter in Austinmer

NSW Police have charged four people, following an alleged aggravated break and enter at a home in Austinmer.

Police allege that on Wednesday 3 July 2024, a group of young people travelled from Sydney and allegedly broke into a home in Boyce Avenue, entered the bedroom of a 50-year-old man, and 49-year-old woman, and threatened the woman with a knife, demanding car keys to a vehicle, the man challenged the group, before they fled from the premises allegedly stealing a phone and headphones..

The four males, ranging in age from 13 to 19 were arrested in various parts of Sydney.
