Over the weekend, NSW Maritime Boating Safety Officers responded to an unexpected, sinking situation at Port Kembla Boat Ramp.
While launching a jetski, the driver went a little too far, and their car went for an unscheduled swim, no one was hurt as a result of the incident, and the car was retrieved from the water.
Authorities are reminding drivers to keep the handbrake on, watch the gradient, and always double-check the surroundings.
