‘Big Red Kidney Bus’ visits the South Coast

The ‘Big Red Kidney Bus’, a dialysis service on wheels, is going to be stationed in Kiama for the next few weeks.

With renal wards largely ‘over capacity’ across the country, organisers said people rely on The Big Red Kidney Bus, to provide free dialysis sessions, offering services without missing their lifesaving treatment.

Residents can also book sessions on the bus, often reducing travel time to their regular medical facility.

The bus will be at the Big4 Easts Beach Holiday Park in Kiama, from 8 July to 3 August.
