Illawarra Edible Garden Trail

Interested in learning more about growing your own produce or composting? 
After the success of the 2023 Illawarra Edible Garden Trail, the trail is back by
popular demand, expanding across the entire Wollongong Local Government Area. Over 30 edible gardens will be open between Helensburgh and Windang / Dapto, including a variety of sunny and shaded backyard, verge and balcony gardens, school and community gardens. 
The idea of the Trail is to encourage new and experienced food growers to visit other gardens, get inspired with ideas and knowledge on how to grow food suited to the climate, soils and topography found in our area. Don’t miss this golden opportunity to connect with your neighbours and learn how to build food security across the Illawarra!
