Friday Wine Down @ The Kazador

Our Wine Down sessions are designed to bring the community together to enjoy splendid views, great tunes, a well-deserved drink, and immaculate vibes! Come take a seat and enjoy the Kazador bar on Black Beach, watch as the sun goes down, and celebrate the end of the week!

This week, we bring you The Kerfuffle

A duo based in Kiama on the NSW South Coast, playing a mix of genres, mainly foot-tapping and happy songs, including swing, originals, jazz, blues, popular covers, alt-country and some album tracks. Both players have years of experience playing in several well-known Sydney and Illawarra bands. They have also played together in various musical projects, including The Splayds, The Grand Tuesday Night Band, and with various artists like Frank Sultana, Sean Emmett, and Pearl Noire.

The Kerfuffle is:

• Dave Shaw – Guitars and Vocals. Dave has been a “go to” guitar player in Sydney and Illawarra for quite a while, playing in such bands as Steve Garry & The 2120s, The Jive Bombers, Jr & The Jewel Tones, Little Light, and Frank Sultana to name a few. 

• Doug Faulkner – Bass & Vocals. Doug has a broad musical taste and played in many bands in Sydney prior to moving to Kiama. Since then, he has played in several Illawarra outfits, such as Sound of KoKo, EC & The Voodoo Train, The Scoundrels, The Stingers, Bugs In the Grill, and The Swamp Critters.
