Warrawong Plaza was shut down for a few hours on Monday afternoon, after a fire saw around 300 people evacuated from the centre.
Fire and Rescue NSW were called to just before 2pm, with crews from Warrawong, Wollongong and Unanderra responding, they found a fire in the centres toilet block, that was quickly put out.
Reports are that a pile of paper has been torched in the female toilets, NSW Police are investigating.
