The Southerly buster hit early this morning, ending what’s been a stifling oppressive weekend of weather for the Illawarra.
People have woken up to a much nicer 16 degrees this morning, Bureau weather stations at Bellambi and Albion Park recorded tops of over 36 degrees on Sunday.
While we had a tough few days, Sydney’s sweltered through one of the hottest weekends, in more than 100 years.
