Sydney Trains is expecting another heavily degraded day on the network today.
Illawarra train commuters will again face lengthy delays, service cancellations, and large service gaps, as a result of over 350 bans that have been notified.
Passengers should also be aware that last night’s wild storms have caused multiple signal/track failures at Shellharbour Junction, which will have an impact on services.

Across the entire network on Wednesday, 95 percent of services were either delayed or cancelled, only 4.7 percent of services ran on time.
Sydney Trains is calling on Illawarra travellers to delay all non-essential travel on the South Coast Line today.
