A few more trophies for the cabinet at Wollongong City Council, following the Keep Australia Beautiful NSW 2024 Tidy Towns Awards.
Council said it pulled down two awards – for projects focussed on reducing and recycling waste, including addressing some of the perceived barriers and encouraged more people to use FOGO….
It’s ‘Summer Cleansing’ litter prevention program was also awarded – which targeted high visitor locations like beaches, parks and foreshore areas, with extra maintenance, recycling cages and recycling bins
