A section of the Illawarra Highway at Macquarie Pass will be closed to allow for maintenance work to be carried out.
The Illawarra Highway will be closed in both directions between Tourist Road and Yellow Rock Road between 9am and 3pm from Tuesday 28 May to Thursday 30 May, weather permitting.
Work will include repairing drains and signs, maintaining electronic signage, clearing vegetation and collecting litter.
Detours for light vehicles will be in place via Jamberoo Mountain Road. Motorists are advised to allow an additional 10 minutes travel time between Robertson and Albion Park.
Heavy vehicles will be detoured via the Hume Highway, Picton Road and the M1 Princes Motorway. Heavy vehicle motorists are advised to allow an additional 20 minutes travel time between the Hume Motorway and Albion Park.
Property access will be maintained throughout the work.
