Fresh analysis by Homelessness NSW, shows the areas of the state with increased levels, sparking calls to better fund services and build more social housing.
The Wollongong local government area, recorded the fifth largest increase, for those seeking help, with numbers rising from 2,299 in 2021 / 2022, to 2,438 in 2022 / 2023.
