The wet weather has pushed the ‘pollution needle’ higher for a number of Illawarra beaches on Thursday.
Beach Watch says ALL Illawarra beaches – from Austinmer in the North to Gerroa in the South, are facing bacterial pollution today.
Major concerns are held for ALL beaches from Bellambi Beach, South to Gerroa Beach, with water quality rated ‘unsuitable for swimming’.
