The Illawarra Shoalhaven region is surrounded by total fire bans today, as the temp is expected to hit 34.
The fire bans are for Greater Sydney and the Far South Coast, while council areas from Wollongong down to the Shoalhaven and the Highlands are in a ‘High Fire’ danger period.
The NSW RFS is urging us all to be prepared, while health authorities advise us, to take all heat related pre-cautions for ourselves, the vulnerable, and our animals.
