Hazardous Surf Warning for the Illawarra Coast

The Bureau of Meteorology has a Hazardous Surf Warning current for the Illawarra Coast.

NSW Police Force, Marine Area Command advise that safety should be paramount near the water today, with rock-fishers advised to avoid coastal rock platforms exposed to the ocean.

Illawarra boaters should remember to log on with the Marine Rescue radio base, via VHF Radio or the Marine Rescue APP, and consider their safety management plan.
