Kiama Council is asking for community feedback on three important community infrastructure projects – sports and recreation facilities in Kiama and Gerringong, and the jetty at Kiama Harbour.
Council is after feedback on the development of masterplans for two sports complexes – Kiama Sports Complex aka ‘Quarry Sportsfields’ (Havilah Place) and South Werri Reserve, Gerringong.
Council is also asking for feedback on three concept plan designs to repair and replace the storm-damaged jetty at Kiama Harbour.
The Kiama Harbour jetty has sustained considerable damage from storms and heavy seas over the years (in particular from severe storms in 2016 and 2020).
The public are invited to attend consultation sessions on these three projects on Tuesday 5 September 2023 as follows
- The Pavilion Kiama, 3pm-5pm: Kiama Harbour Jetty
- The Pavilion Kiama, at 7pm: Kiama Sports Complex at Havilah Place (RSVP required)
- Gerringong Town Hall, at 3.30pm: South Werri Reserve (RSVP required)
