Wollongong City Council looks into ‘urban heat’

Wollongong City Council has called for feedback on it’s ‘Climate Change Adaptation Plan’, as it looks to identified urban heat as a key issue.

Council says the issues needs more investigation and a response, as it looks into the risks associated with heat in relation to the community, environment, and Council’s operations.

Residents can complete a short survey to collect info on experiences of urban heat, feedback closes on August 7.
