Dragons name two new players, side for round five

The Dragons have confirmed the signing of two key players for the club, that’ll come into effect immediately.

The Red V said via their website that 22 year old forwards Viliami Fifita and Alec Tuitavake will switch from Manly.

The club said Fifita will be added to the Dragons top 30 roster this year, Tuitavake will spend 2023 on a development contract.

Heading into round five of the NRL, Dragons coach Anthony Griffin has stuck with the same 17 who took on Cronulla last weekend.

On their website The Dragons said veteran forward Jack de Belin makes his first appearance on a team sheet this year, and will be assessed later in the week, as he closes in on a return from a calf strain.

The club said new signing Paul Turner will be unavailable for one to two weeks after suffering a minor ankle sprain last week.
